Signals Training Consortium Releases First Round of Courses

This week, the Center’s Signals Training Consortium released the Introduction and Overview Courses for the following topics:

*  Track Circuits
*  Switches and Derails
*  Train Stops
*  Highway Grade Crossings

Each course contains a course book, instructor’s guide, PowerPoint Presentation and an assessment.  Some courses also incorporate videos from the consortium member locations.  Member locations are scheduled to start piloting the courseware later this month.

Consortium members can access these files through the Transit Training Network website.  Non-consortium members can also view previews of these files here.
