Metro Transit Graduates its First Class of Coach Operator Apprentices

On Thursday, December 12, the Center’s Jack Clark and Kenyon Corbett traveled to Minneapolis to attend the graduation ceremony for Metro Transit’s first class of Bus Operator apprentices. The Center worked with labor and management at Metro Transit to help get design, register, and implement the apprenticeship.

ATU International President, John Costa, Elected Chair of the Center’s Board

The Center is excited to announce Amalgamated Transit Union International President, John Costa, has been elected to Chair its board of directors. Costa was elected International President of the Amalgamated Transit Union, September 26, 2019, at ATU’s 59th International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Center Delivers Train-the-Trainer Course at SacRT in Sacramento
