Mentor Training

The Transportation Learning Center provides mentor training to complement registered apprenticeship and the mentoring/OJT that is critical to its success. This training can be completed as either a 1-day, in-person program held at the transit agency or virtually in a series of 3 sessions.

The mentor training curriculum focuses on the qualities, essential skills, and five primary roles of a successful mentor. It includes an in-depth review of adult learning styles and their impact on building and maintaining positive mentoring relationships.
